I need some advice about the speed of the rear and front 80mm fans I have installed on my LanBoy. If I have the rear fan at full speed and the front fan at half speed, will there be any airflow problems? I just want to know as a rule of thumb that should both the front and rear fans always be at the same speed? Or it doesn't really matter? Or what are your recommendations? Thanks.

Cool. Thanks.
What brand of 80mm fans are you using? I'm using the Vantec Spectrum UV LEDs fans, and I still think they are noisey when running at half the speed. Do you think the Vantec Stealth fan do a better job? Or what brands do you recommend?

A mate of mine just got some Antec fans- clear with blue lights, good flow, the quietest 80mm fans I have ever heard. Considering that they were $20 Aud, they should be, cause thats about the same priceas a 120mm fan. But if you've got 80mm cages already (as he has) then they are a good choice.

I use a few brands but the thing they have in common is that they're all 34cfm fans which make them pretty quiet but then there are 5 (3 intakes, 2 exhausts) of them in my much larger cases.

Heh, you got me interested now, what kind of fans (brand name) do you use Wiggo :?: ? I've tried thermaltake, and they move alot of air but are loud as hell. Vantec stealth's are nice (fullspeed they are about whisper, i.e. 21 dB), but they're just shy of moving 30CFM, and with filter its even less. Whats a good mid-range fan to get the best of both worlds? : peace2: Mista K6
