Default Improve Cooling

I have just purchased a Dell Dimension 8400 (you may laugh but is was pretty cheap). I now want to improve the cooling as it just comes with the standard one fan as I plan on putting an x800xt in it, the question is what would be the best way to do it (probably steer clear of water cooling).

Thanks.

Default Re: Improve Cooling

Depends on the case itself. Optimal cooling consists of at least one intake fan toward the lower front part of the case and at least one exhaust fan toward the upper rear part of the case. This allows the naturally rising heat to be taken away from the system. If there are no mounts for fans on the front of the enclosure, you're likely looking at a case mod.
