The p4 stock fan is great for keeping temperatures down and some people even use them for overclocking. Your not planning to overclock so save ure money mate.

For relatively small overclocking, the stock HSF works wonders... my 2.53 ran at 3.04 stable using stock cooling for the longest time until i bought a 7+ But ya, since you won't be overclocking ... keep the stock.

When the P4 came out, Intel did a great job at making a solid hsf. They are all aluminum with a good quiet fan. For your situation, I would also have to say stick with the stock hsf.
