Anyway what kind of heatsink would do fine to cool an athlonXP 1700+ at FSB100 or do I need some sort of a fan in any case. I can even buy a new case if it will help keep the noise inside. Thx

Antec has a nice case my friend just picked up. It has a huge fan inside so you can run at low speeds to keep the noise down. As for a HSU the Zalman 7000 is what I use (24 idle 34 load on a P4 3.2) and it is dead quiet (but you need to see if it'll work with yours).

Going with slower 120mm fan is always an option if you got room/tools to do it :thumb:

Ya may want to check out the Thermaltake Volcano Silent Boost if ya runnin' stock CPU speeds or not too much more.
