Exclamation unsure temps

im running a athlon xp 1700 at 1.8 at (166 fsb) and was wondering if the
temperature were to hot
47C for the cpu
and the mobo is at 25C

using ASUS pc probe

AsusProbe is notorious for being very unreliable with temperature readings, especially with that age motherboard. If you're really interested in seeing what sort of temperatures you are getting, I would recommend a real thermal probe. If those temperatures end up being close to correct, then you should have no problems at 47C as long as this is the load temperature and not the idle temperature.
