XP2000+ cooling

My system specs are in the sig. Yes my hsf is crappy and Yes I am using SDRAM still. I need to drop my cpu temp. So I need the best cooler under $30. I am only 15 so money is small. I know it is not case cooling that temp is under 70F most of the time. I was looking at the Thermalright SK-6plus and a 30cfm delta or the Volcano 7+

Volcano 7+ an 9 are both newegg.com which is a online retaler in the US for 28 bucks. Like i said b4 at another thread V7+ would be my first choice. Because of its ALL Copper Heatsink which i like.

is the volcano 11 out yet? if it is I would recomend that one...otherwise I would agree with falco...I use the volcano 9 personaly on a 2100+

I use it the 9 on a 1700+ and does very nice. I use the 7+ on a 2000+ and a 2600+ also...does a great job. Volcano 11 suppose to be better but not under 30 bucks. So the 7+ or 9 prolly still on your list.

Aight so I am looking at the 7+. But is the SK-6+ w/ a 30cfm delta good or not?:confused: They are bout the same price

I dunno about it since i haven't used it, but i believe that us just the heatsink and not the fan.

I got a xp2000+ w. V7+ on, and I use SETI, so its working 100% all the time.
With the load on my temps are in the 33-37C range. on the midRPM setting.
I love the v7+ now and have installed it on 2 other machines. For the money its the best.

I like the 7+ not only for it's price and performance plus my ears' like it as well so I have 5 of them. :devil win
