Default ATi drivers

I just installed new drivers for my ATi Radeon 9250, so that i can play BF2. I installed the new drivers and now my computer is crashing randomly at startup. I think it has something to do with the fact that i didnt unninstall the old drivers. What do I do?
Thanks for your time,
BJF

Use this:

http://www.drivercleaner.net/professional.php

Uninstall all ATI drivers with it and then restart your PC. Reinstall the ATI drivers and you're set.

Install the latest drivers from ATI, the Catalyst 6.8's. Just go to www.ATI.com and download them. Painless really. Good luck!

Not necessarily painless. You'll have to use older drivers because the Radeon 9250 is no longer supported by current Catalyst drivers.

Wow! I didn't realize they were dropping support for those cards already. I honestly didn't pay close enough attention and saw the 9500 series and just assumed.......

Regarding the 9250 driver problem. Try this out, there is support for the 9250 in this driver : XG WarCat 6.8 . If you have any problems, let me know.

I generally like to stick with certified drivers myself. If I recall correctly, the Catalyst 6.6 drivers were the last to officially support the 9250 series boards.
