Default bsod install / uninstall forceware

Hi, I currently have beta 163.71.. although the install is messed up. I can play games but I can't access control panel. Problem is when I try to install or uninstall the drivers I get a BSOD. I want to use the whql ones but I get a bsod installing those too, also with the old official ones.

I have tried uninstalling in vga mode enabled & safe mode as well. Same problem. It will load the nvidia installing thing and when it's at drivers installing always bsods/freezes at the same time. Uninstalling it just bsod's every time nvidia logo comes up.

XFX 8800GTS 320mb.

I have windows XP pro sp2 all latest updates. What can I do?

Does your pc BSOD on the drivers only or other programmes as well?

What is the error code on the BSOD?

can't access control panel - can be caused by a virus / spyware - so do a check
