catalyst 3.0 drivers

Whats new with the dx9 drivers?

the 3.1's are available now & most reports show a resonable performance gain over the 3.0's...although I haven't benched them head to head personally.

about the only issues I've had with DX9 and either the 3.0 or 3.1 cats are with older DX6 or early DX7 games

they're good enough to go from start to finish in Unreal2 without incident at least :thumb:

Ya did but with a "Graphics Card Driver Forum" related thread. Soz but we really don't want graphics drivers to flood the lesser others. I'm sussin' around some other benchmarks for IDE/HDD/Optical/sound/etc... that would relate to "Other" drivers so ya welcome to throw one in that direction and in fact I moved the PCMark2002 over there not only to give it content but that benchmark is more system/driver related. ;)
