nvidia 40.72, shell32.dll error.

Is anyone having a problem with the latest driver offering from nvidia (detonator 40.72) ???
I have installed it and having a wee problem....The driver seems to be working ok but since I've installed it I cant get into the main nvidia display properties in the control panel.
I get a shell32.dll error when trying to get in.
I suppose in one way its ok as I really dont need to get into the properties as these are set by default to run pretty good anyway, but I would still like to be able to access them if I want to.
I have tried all the normal things like uninstalling and reinstalling, turning off antivirus programs etc etc, but it still wont let me in.
The strange thing is,,, I have spoke to someone else who had exactly the same problem.
