I think i need a NVIDIA driver, i have a 'ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9600 TURBO PRO', I have tried to download a few drivers but nothing has worked i can need help so if you can thanks alot.

I will post my specs just if they are needed:

2.00GHz
512MB of RAM

You don't have enough ram to run BF2 on that machine except maybe on the lowest settings. BF2 is a huge ram hog and prefers 2GB of ram. Turn down all the settings to low and I bet it will run.

Ummmmmmmm no you don't need a Nvidia driver as you have an ATi card. You need the cat drivers for ATi cards but that is a moot point because as casecutters says, you do not have enough ram, I have had BF2 top out at over 700mb of ram usage, add to that all your background apps and windows and 1gb of ram is insufficient, 2gb is recommended for sure. Also is your video card in the list of hardware supported by BF2??
