Just wondering where/how do you check to see which driver version you are running. I have only used GF and Voodoo cards, so I am not familiar with the interface for the ATI/Radeon cards.

Thx
JM :afro:

Doesn't it tell ya under the display properties/driver in the device manager? Sorry but mine is on 98SE PC.

DUH!
I didn't think to look under the "Details" tab. I found that I am actually running the latest drivers.

My next question is why am I having trouble running 3DMark2k1SE? I get the following error:
Could not create render target depth-stencil surface - D3DERR_INVALIDCALL

specs:
Win98SE (all updates, DX8.1)
1.4G Athy (@1.5)
EPox 8k7a+
Sapphire Radeon 9000 (no overclock)

It will run through all of the benchmarks except the Advanced Pixel Shader. It either hangs at the title screen or goes back to the desktop with an error box. Any help would be appreciated.

Thx
JM

I finally thought to reinstall the drivers, same ones from the disk. Now it is happy as can be. Everything runs fine. Now I am going to bed.

Later
