I haven't found anything wrong with the standard drivers from ATI. They generally release a new set each month or so that brings out more features and updated performance. www.ati.com

Get Omegas from Omegadrivers.net. Then, overclock them using ATITool. Radeon 9000, 9200 and 9550/9600 can't be overclocked using Catalysts. However, you can use the softmodded version of the Catalysts instead of Omega, if you prefer. I've personally found little to no performance difference between the two.
