Default Card Life

I currently own Geforce 6800 and I've successfully overclocked it to 400mhz core and 750 mhz memory using riva tuner. I have no problem at all I do not see any artifacts or any sort. However i have a curious thought, by how much have i decreased the cards life by (yes i understand overclockin may destroy my card but Ive seen others with same card but WAY Lower overclocking to even surpass people sayin all models are different) I have a stable temperature rate, around 50s-mid 60s when playin heavy doom3. 78 degrees with demo mode aquaMark3.
I apologize if this sounds like a newbie question but I'm gettin worried now - -...
Thanks.

You have probably had a fairly insignificant effect on its life. It will probably be obsolete by the time it actually dies.

what is the maximum life for a card anyways? has anyone actually wasted ther lives to find out the difference between the life expectancy of an overclocked card as to of a non overclocked card?
Lol.

You're fine. Leave it overclocked if it helps.

Like I said, cars are usually obsolete before their maximum life is up. There's no way of really knowing whether or not overclocking makes a huge difference on a card's life.
