Default P35-DS3L mild overclock

Hi all when i raise the fsb to over 250 an remove ac power say over night my system starts then shuts off starts again then it will boot in windows xp fine. But under 250-fsb it starts first time when ac power is removed overnight. Is this normal or is there a problem.

new build 11-2007 just starting to play with overclocking

Pretty normal stuff. Motherboards do weird things and I have an ASUS X38 board that does that very same thing.
