Default Dual Monitor Problem

I have a Samsung and an Acer AL2216W in dual screen mode, both working off of my 6800GT in an AGP slot.

During post, both screens show the information, and when Vista is loading (the scrolling bar at the bottom), both screens are showing it. But, when the Vista orb shows, my Acer which is in the DVI slot stops showing.

In Vista, in the nVidia control panel, both monitors are available in the dual screen section, but whenever i try to activate the second screen, it asks if everything is ok (yes, no), but the monitor never starts. I can't get it activated.

I can get both of them working in Vista within Safe Mode, which leads me to a driver issue, but i have installed the newest drivers. Any ideas on what i should try?

Default Re: Dual Monitor Problem

Newest driver is not always best, try a older one and see if it helps
