Unhappy Houston I Have A Problem......

CANNOT BROWSE THE INTERNET

I was browsing one afternoon and suddently I was cut off from the internet world. I just cannot browse any longer. Everytime I go to the Internet, I get an error message - no connection to the server. I checked with the Provider and they say there is nothing wrong with my connection. Yes, I have checked that myself and there is nothing wrong with my connection. I thought maybe its the work of some worm - I did a thorough cleaning and found nothing suspicious.

The Provider even advised that I restore to a good day when I had no problem - May 01 I suggested. And, that was what I did - nothing work!

Can someone help me out. Many thanks

Reset your router/switch if you have one. And maybe try replacing network cables.

If that doesn't work, then you might try emptying your cache.

Tools --> Internet Options --> Delete Files (General tab under Temporary Internet Files)

If it has been a while since you did this, it may do the trick. IE gets testy at times when it can't wade through all the crap it saves off. You also might try another browser (Firefox) and see if the problem persists.
