Default Is this a Spambot?

This is weird.

Me and Lsdmeasp's (spelling?) posts on this thread is cloned on this other forum.

Is there an explanation for this?

How did you find that anyway? I do see those users have made other posts, but damn that is funky for sure. EXACT wording by both users!

There are several "Forum Clones" around, they copy your forum post for post.

I know Agg (OCAU) had words with one based in India (iirc) as it was copying OCAU forum posts.

Funny, the site he linked to at the top also looks to be from India. Hmmm......

Wow, what a waste of time and possibly skills.

Never heard of such a thing, at least I suppose different names were used.

Aguiluz, how did you come across that?

Well, I wanted to apply the code to the other microsite because he could point it there too. I searched google for "Forcing Off Domains" in intention of clicking that thread again to get the code. What I came across is that.

EDIT: Is there a way to apply the code to a phpBB forum I have on topBB?

Also, the reason I hate the url is aside from the bad words, it gives you a feeling that there is a back door to your site. Creepy.

Ahh yeah I thought maybe google got you there! Just wondered. As for phpBB I am not sure as I only deal in IPB.

I will ask if you like, let me know. But I am no sure if my Guy will know for sure either as he deals with IPB as well.

I think you may be able to use the same htacces file mod as these come up when looking for phpBB rewrites >>>
.htaccess - Wikipedia
mod_rewrite, a beginner's guide (with examples)
