Default Wireless Netowork issue. Connection registered as "Excellent", pages not loading.

I just got my new computer a week ago, and I have my older one down stairs with a Belkin Wireless-G netowrk card and a Hawking Wireless-G router connected to my new one.
Everything seems like it's working. The wireless card picks up the internet signal, tells me the name of the router (Hawking), and that the conncetion is always "Excellent" or "Very Good". But Internet Explorer, MSN, or any internet related program won't work.

Can you share files on your network and whatnot on the network if you have one? If yes, then I've run into a similar issue with a win 98 machine. It turned out that DNS was disabled, so I googled for my ISP's DNS servers and added one. You could just call your ISP and call them though.

Can neither computer access the Internet, or is just a problem with the wirelessly connected one?

WEP, or Wired Equivelent Protection, is a protocol for securing wireless networks. It is a very, very weak protection and it's not much better than nothing (in fact you could argue that it's worse because it takes a huge toll on wireless throughput). However, we can talk about security after we've fixed the problem.
