Default Do I need extra driver to install XP pro on 500g+ HDD?

Was just wondering, I thought I read this somewhere the other day. Is it true that if you are running XP pro and have 500GB HDD or higher and want to do a fresh OS install on it and format it, do you need a special driver for windows to recognize it? or not? Or can you just install XP pro on it like any other hard drive?

thanx in advance ^^

You only need a driver if you choose to use AHCI or RAID with two drives or more, otherwise install like a normal Hard Drive

If your XP Pro is pre SP1 then you'll need to slipstream SP1 into the install otherwise you'll only be able to address 132GB of that 500GB drive.
