For starters what make & model of burner?
Is it SATA, USB or IDE?
How do you have it connected?
What are your system spec's?
What operating system?

Simply you havn't supplied enough info plus you also didn't need to make 2 other threads.

Please be sure you have the latest intel chipset drivers installed if you have a intel board >>

Second link on the left

If you are not sure, please let us know what board you have and we can tell you. If you have AMD Board do not use the above link

You also need to be sure you have the jumper set properly if it is IDE drive
