Default HP Deskjet F4180 won't scan

I got a printer/scanner combo, a HP Deskjet F4180. I use it on this Vista Home Basic Laptop. The other Laptop, an XP-based one, scans well, but however, that laptop is retired already.

When on Vista, It prints. It also acts like a Xerox machine (photocopier). I want to scan some things, but when I push the "Scan" button, the power light flashes for, like, 10 seconds, then stops. No scan happens. I downloaded latest drivers (the "lite" version only, 40 MB, instead of 160+ MB) and installed it. Nope, no scans. Reboot, reboot and more reboots, no scans.

I tried hitting the scan button many times, and to some extent it was like playing a minigame on Spyro Orange . No scans.

Any help? I would appreciate it, since my relative needs it for his buisness.

Thanks!

P.S: I'm downloading that "full" version, just in case.

EDIT: Okay, I wasn't hitting that "Scan" button really fast.

Default Re: HP Deskjet F4180 won't scan

*UPDATE* Problem has been solved by reinstalling drivers!
