Default what do you think? media center...maybe?

Check it out and give me the first impression.

I don't really do any gameing. Probly just DVD, Record TV, Music, ect...
Right now I have a projection TV, but am looking at LCD.

(been 5 yrs since my last build, i don't know too much about the current tech...Also i'm willing to build a more pricier system in a couple of years if i can get decent use out of a cheep one now.)

For no gaming, it will be fine. I would suggest a larger hard drive and 4GB of ram , PC2-6400 would be fine as well. I'd also suggest Vista Premium since it has a decent media center program built in as well.

You mention that it has been 5 years since your last build. You also mention that you already have a PSU. If the PSU is a Plain Jane from the same era (five years ago) you may need something a bit more powerful. Just a thought ...
