Default what external firewall

I intend to buy an external firewall for 2 computers,
1 tabletop and 1 laptop. It should be ethernet all the way.

I have a catalog where they offer Level1 FBR-1418TX and
D-Link DIR-100 and I suppose they should both do but
there is one thing that I want that is not there (as far as
I can find).

I want a hardware on/off button so I can be sure nobody
is using my computer without my knowledge. It is of
course possible to pull the power plug but I do not want
an unregulated stop, I am afraid that I will have to reboot
my computer to get the communication going again.

I have looked on the net and so far I have not found any
external firewalls with hardware on/off.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for any answer
Anders

You can turn any old P1/P2/P3 computer into an extreme firewall for little money with free Linux software too. If I needed that much security, that is what I would do.

Thanks but I do not have a spare computer at home.
Besides, I would have to buy some extra hardware to
connect 2 computers and a net. Those 2 firewalls I
mentioned both cost a bit below 100 $ so the price
would probably be about the same even if I
had an old computer. They also have dedicated
software so they would be easier to configure.
