Default 10 p1 s Best linux?

ok I have 10 pentium 1's fixed/repaired and ready to give to the poor in my neighbor hood [it's a hobby]. 450 mb upto 3 gig...harddrives. I'm out of legal windows 98 cd's..which linux should I use for internet and open office and any games you caw think about. I'd load my redhat 9.0 but it's slow on my 500 amd..

Try DamnSmallLinux. (I know you can install that on hard-disc.)

ubuntu is supposed to be easy to use

I like Suse but that cause novell support it - might be a bit resource hungry on pentium 1's thou

Second on the DamnSmallLinux. That or some other Knoppix Variant. Ubuntu is nice, but not as nice on a small HDD.

funny but I found darn small Linux and down loaded it..I hope to get to it next week.. [vbs this week] I have ubuntu on this comp..but is way to big for the p1's..

by the way , how do like the solaris os.. does it run open office?

G13man: I'm finding Solaris a bit of a learning experience. It's a bit slow on my hardware (maybe I don't have enough RAM)
It actually comes with StarOffice, which is based on OpenOffice so I'll use that until I can figure out how to install OpenOffice proper.
