Tweak NFS:Hot Pursuit 2

Hi,

I have read the review/tweak section of NFS: Hot Pursuit 2 on
www.tweaktown.com with great interest. I was particularly
interested in the tweak named "disable Intro Logo and Movie".

I followed the instructions but all i get when i start the game
is a black screen, the game does not start and when i hit ctrl+alt+del i
find out that the game is not responding.

The 2 files i get are hp2F.mad and logoF.mad (I actually have
the french version of NFS: Hot Pursuit 2, but i do not think that is why
the tweak fails). They are actually text files, while the original ones
are, according to Windows Explorer, shortcuts to Microsoft Access-modul, 2
different kind of files so...

What do i do wrong ? There must be a solution but i can not find it...

I hope someone will be able to help me and thank you in advanced for
your time.

Come on Guys (and Girls),

is this game really too much "out of date", or do really do not know the answer, or is it because you have not read the review about NFS: Hot Pursuit 2 on Tweaktown.com (for those who own NFS: Hot Puirsuit 2 of course)

I have tried to send an e-mail to the autor of the review, but in vain, he must have changed his e-mail address...

It isn't so much being out of date as it is that many folks don't get into that genre of game. If you would like to send a message to the author of the piece, he started up his own website and you can visit it here.
