Default Re: ASUS Eee PC: Exclusive Inside Look!

I accidentally left the disc (EEE PC Support DVD Rev.1.3) inside my disc drive of another computer. When I turned on the computer it booted from the disc. There was no prompt whether to continue with whatever it will do. It seemed that it started to install Linux. I tried to quit the installation by rebooting and I could no longer boot with Windows XP. There was this "Error 15". I tried to repair it by reinstalling Windows but it seems the hard disk partitions were already changed.
What does the Support DVD exactly do to the files? Does the Support DVD automaticall format the hard disk? Why is it that there was no prompt whether I agree to whatever it will do?
What will I do so that my PC will work again?

You did an EXCELLENT Block Diagram of the Eee PC 701!
Do you have a similar block diagram for the 1000H or one
of the other newer models?

Thanks,
Thipdar
