Interesting. I wonder were they went wrong with the HD4850 in the 9.5's?? Just compared the 9.4 (which is what im running) to the 9.6 and Hmm, The first few pages Identical. Lol And the 9.6 is actually slightly lower in some test. I guess its 9.4 again for me. Bring on 9.7.

Ok, since I never got an answer about the 9.5 driver and Spore, I will ask again.

Does anyone know if this new driver (or 9.5 for that matter) solved the Spore Crash issue?

I was loving my HD4870 till I upgraded from the 9.2 Cats, to the 9.5 Cat driver. Then my dual display stopped working properly. As in it would drop one display every time I first started Windows (Vista in this case...). And all I can think of is that a setting in the Registry was changed, because cleaning out the drivers and reverting to the 9.2s again had no effect.

What I'd like to know is: did they fix this? Or should I just give my 4870 away and forget about ATI? I mean I know I'm not the only one who has had this happen... But I don't think ATI is paying attention!
