While "the bundled extras" are nice to get they are in no way influential with regard to my purchase choice, a good game isn't going to make a mid range card perform any better.
I would rather see a stripped down package of a fully functional high performance product in a brown box at a cheaper price to be honest.

Those freebies are usually the first things flung across the room in the fevered scrabbling to get at the board itself.
