These reviews of motherboards that are aimed at HTPC users would be even more useful if they included results of playing DVD and HD-DVD / Blu Ray on a 1920x1080 capable TV such as a Sony Bravia X.

Did this board include s-video support? The Gigabyte press release about their 690G boards stated that they would, but the article only mentioned VGA/DVI/HDMI.

Yes. According to Gigabyte, the retail package includes a TV-Out adapter bracket with composite, component and S-Video output ports. It's mentioned in both the product page and the user's manual.
