I used option #2 and #3 as a combination :)

Heat the heatspreaders up with a hairdryer, grab a really thin knife,heat the knife up right after the heatspreaders. Slice tru the glue.

Heck, it's like a hot knife tru butter.

Bonus! glad that worked. i tried it with mine but i think kingston have discovered some magic sticky thermal pads that just won't F****** come off! NASA called, they want their space shuttle thermal pads back!
