It would have been nice to see at least one benchmark program run in Vista as opposed to XP, just to give some comparison issues.

Great review on this card, it may be the one i'm going with when i build in May.

Hmmm... I cant justify the speed bump XFX made. Maybe anyone can get a plain 8800GTS, mod it out, and then O/C it themselves. I am waiting for some serious price drops so I can buy parts for a new rig to replace my blown one. Nice. Who needs DX10 anyway? Some current games even support DX8.1. DX9 will be staying for a long time until it is blown away.

Most current games support DirectX 8.1 hardware. But the difference between DirectX 8.1 and DirectX 9 is like night and day, and the same will be true with DirectX 10. Upgrading to DX10 is about the visuals, not about what's necessary.
