Default System32 folder shows hidden in XP Pro

I always have these files unhidden and I've checked the Folder Options. Any ideas as to what's going on?

Here's a screenshot:

Try going there without windows blinds enabled, and not in "Explore" mode

If things persists you may need to run SFC /Scannow

Disabling WindowBlinds is no biggie but I'm not clear on what you mean by "and not in Explore mode".

What he means is to use My Computer instead of Windows Explorer.
