VMWare & existing vista install?

Hello,

I never setup a vmware server b4 though I have used client professionally. I am using win 7 and want to have vmware vista ultimate 64 vmware session. My question is: can I use my existing win vista install (dual boot) as a vmware server? Or is it absolutely necessary that I have do the install fresh?

Googled this question and couldn't get a strait answer. :( ...prob cuz it's not possible...
