Default codec finder

I am looking for a program that will look at all my Mp3, and determine which codecs I need in order to play them all.

Is there such a program?

Klite is good and has a vast majority of the Codecs you will ver come across, and some versions also come bundled with Media Player Classic, an excellent viewer that doesn't have all the bloatware associated with the MS media players.
