Need For Speed Shift problem

I installed nfss 2 days ago and played it once. When I start the game within 5 minutes it crashes. Im looking for any solution except reinstalling it... I NEVER like reinstalling anything to me it is the biggest pain in the...

There's a patch for the game. Install it.... you'll still have some bugs here and there but they aren't as bad as some people say they are. More inexperience on their part. Great game by the way.... that 3870 is holding you way back.
