Since I have been using iMacs at school for the past 2 years, Ive really began to like the Mac os. I think we use 9 point something. I was wondering if anyone knows if Apple plans on releasing an x86 version of panther/jaguar, or if anyone knows of a good way to emulate them on a windows PC (Let me know if this goes against forum rules). Last resort, one hell of a great theme for XP Pro.
Any takers?

OSX is based on a Unix core, so all you gotta do is find a distro that offers a similar interface. There is also a sweet looking OS X skin that a friend of mine uses...

you can't get THE OSX on a PC, but there are many things for Linux that can mimic parts the OSX gui... you could just install Linux on a Mac, but that's not what you were asking ;)

Thanks guys. Ill try out this darwin but im not keeping my hopes up. It sounds like just the developer side, but its worth the shot. And hey, its a nice fast server, D/L was <1MB for a while before averaging out at 405kb/s :D
I also managed to find a nice XP Skin @ http://www.jonmega.com/~iceman/ if anyone else out there is interested. It does require that you have StyleXP or another styling program of the sort.

I've downloaded it and set it up as server. it works well like that. And I'm sure you can get X Windows running just no jaguar interface..
