Default New Folding@Home Team - Project Tweakers (Team #63)

Hi all,

I am excited to announce we have joined forces with the Project Tweakers (Team #63) Folding@Home Team which is currently ranked 41 with about 500 active processors. The team is made up of members from Tweakers Australia, Inside Project, OC Wizard, Nerd Tech... and now TweakTown.

Help fight diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, cystic fibrosis, Mad Cow disease, an inherited form of emphysema, and even many cancers are believed to result from protein misfolding.

If you are interested in the joining our new Folding@Home alliance, you can find all the details here at the Folding@Home section of Tweakers Australia.

Lo all, and first of all, let me say welcome to team63. I am not a key player in either tweakers australia, or even team63 (i am members of both tho), but can be found at ocwizard. i just wanted to point out that the links on the above referred to page are wrong. they read:

- Official Project Tweakers website http://www.project-tweakers.com
- Check out the Project Tweakers Official stats here http://folding.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/teampage.detailed?q=63
- Check out your stats here http://folding.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/searchstats
- More info at the Folding@Home webiste here http://foldingathome.stanford.edu/
- Installation guide here http://folding.stanford.edu/using.html#install
- Scientific background information here http://folding.stanford.edu/science.html

whereas they should read:
- Official Project Tweakers website http://www.project-tweakers.com
- Check out the Project Tweakers Official stats here http://vspx27.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/teampage.detailed?q=63
- Check out your stats here http://vspx27.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/searchstats

Thumbs up Re: New Folding@Home Team - Project Tweakers (Team #63)

I'd like to extend a warm welcome from the Project Tweakers team to all TweakTown folders!

I am the chief cook and bottle washer of the Project Tweakers website. I will be updating that site ASAP to reflect TweakTown's addition to Team 63. We are already ranked 41 in the world -- with you guys providing some additional power, we can climb the ranks!

If I can help any of you get started, or if you have any questions about the team or the website, feel free to email me at homebrew@ocwizard.com.

Again, welcome!
