dot matrix display or lcd

I been trying to get a dot matrix display but I seen some LCD displays, How can I get one of those LCD's?

dorima27, where you get it and how you install it depends on what you want to do with it. perhaps you should tell us just what you are trying to do?

Well for starters the ones that I've seen connect via the serial port (if ya have a legacy free mobo then ya'll need to get a PCI serial port card). Ya may like to checkout VLSystem's L.I.S 2 as it comes with everthing that ya need (software is something that some don't have) and is simple enough to setup (as shown in this review). Also if ya contact then they maybe able to point to a retailer in your area.

Well what I have seen is a dot matrix that display some system information like cpu temp cpu speed etc.
Now the lcd is something that I haven't seen that often but I belive is more like a second display, some sort of lcd ripped out of somethin else and then mod into a case
