I recently purchased a new 320-gig samsung hard drive for my laptop because my old one is beginning to die. I made an image of all my files on the new drive, but when i replaced the old drive with it, my computer wouldn't boot up. I know very little about hard drives, but I'm wondering if I'm missing a step or what? I used a program called 'Macrium Reflect' to make the image. I would appreciate a response because I really need my laptop up and running before I head back to school in less than a week. Thanks everyone. |

Hi there don't know if you have fixed your problem but I use software called XXclone. Make a clone from your old drive to your new drive then when finished go to the cooltools and make the drive bootable. Swap your drives over and all should work I do this all the time at work.
