VLC stopped playing for me in Vista..

GOM Player is pretty good, though it lacks internal QuickTime support
You can check out KMPlayer too, I think it is Vista compatible

Uhm, sorry to revive this thread, but this might be helpful someday. Just check every now and then. Got Starburn, GLARY Utilities, a RAM freeing thing (useful!) and a game "Turtix."
