some say the 3200 is a manchester with one faulty core.
this could be possible, cause me and a few others have found that some programs wont id these cpus correctly.

Re: 3DMark06 scores
That makes total sense. Instead of just scrapping an X2 with a bad core, just lock one off and sell it as a single core. I had a Toledo 3800+ X2 and it probably had a similar issue with some bad L2 so they just locked out the bad extra and sold it as a normal 3800+ X2. Usually, Everest will get the correct ID.

Re: 3DMark06 scores
Yes supposedly I have the newest revision which is not correctly identifed by cpu-z and many new programs out there.I think i know why my cpu was 15$ more that the "other" 3200 Vience newegg has.I got the more expensive one because i figured you get what you pay for and i'm thinking this will get higher overclocks since bothcores are touching the cpu heatspereader.I've done some research and read the it actually has two cores. I'm running it 2.6Ghz easly with minor votage increse. Wouldent it be a maricle if one of the cores was unlockable!(highly unlikely)

Re: 3DMark06 scores
Oh I wouldn't be suprised if you were able to pull of the heatspreader and connect a bridge to enable the core. However, they are binned as 3200s for a reason. The second core is most likely faulty. A similar thing happend with Durons. Durons were the low-end counterpart to Athlon XPs and many were based on Barton cores with partially faulty L2 cache. It was discovered that you could unlock it and make them into Bartons, but about 25% of them were unusably unstable, because those chips were binned as Durons for a reason.

You should be able to make it 100KB or less, there are some that I post that are under 50KB, than again, some other are about 1MB, but those are mostly mod pics.

Not everyone has the luxury of broadband internet so please try to be courteous to others. As the post above states, you can easily resize the screenshots to be more accommodating to those on dial-up.
