Default corsair xms2 ddr2 800 PC 6400 cas 4

I have the afforementioned ram, but CPU-z says in the 'SPD' tab that it is set at 'PC-6400', followed by '400 Mhz'.. shouldn't this read 800 mhz? I'm not sure how to change this using my gigabyte ds3 bios.. some clarification and help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance :)

No, CPUZ reads the speed correctly. The memory speeds are double the FSB speed. That is why it will always read that way.
