Default A very big problemwith my RAM module

Hi there,
I recently bought a new RAM memory module to upgrade my PC it's a 512 MB at @400Mhz DDR
Here are some details: it's from Elixir,it's the model M2Y51264DS8HC3G-5T.
I insert it in the socket and when I start the PC it doesn't load the BIOS and Windows...
My motherboard is an ASUS K8V-XSE and it's compatible with the RAm I bought, and yes it suports up to 1024 MB of ram.
Here are some features of the RAM I've bought:

http://www.digiconcepts.com/elixir_memory_01.htm
184 Dual In-Line Memory Module (DIMM)

Unbuffered DDR DIMM based on 256M bit die C device, organized as either 32Mx8 or 16Mx16

Performance:

Latency 3

Clock Frequency 200 MHz

Clock Cycle 5 ns

DQ Burst Frequency 400 MHz

Intended for 166 and 200 MHz applications

Inputs and outputs are SSTL-2 compatible

VDD = VDDQ = 2.5V ± 0.2V (2.6V ± 0.1V for PC3200)

SDRAMs have 4 internal banks for concurrent operation

Differential clock inputs

Data is read or written on both clock edges

DRAM DLL aligns DQ and DQS transitions with clock transitions
Address and control signals are fully synchronous to positive clock edge

Programmable Operation:

Burst Type: Sequential or Interleave

Burst Length: 2, 4, 8

Operation: Burst Read and Write

Auto Refresh (CBR) and Self Refresh Modes

Automatic and controlled precharge commands

7.8 ms Max. Average Periodic Refresh Interval

Serial Presence Detect EEPROM

Gold contacts

SDRAMs are packaged in TSOP packages

RoHS Compliance: M2Y51264DS8HC3G and M2Y25664DS88C3G

Specifications

Part Number: M2Y51264DS8HC3G-5T

Organization: 64Mx64

Speed: 3-3-3, 200MHz (5ns @ CL = 3)

Power: 2.6V

And here are some features of the Ram I have

Memory Module Manufacturer
Company Name Kingmax Inc.
Product Information http://www.kingmax.com/product/pro_newp.htm

I've tried everything and is not working.
I've tried to put only the new module in,without the old one and still nothing,It just wont load anything,do anithing as if the PC is off,but the fans are working everything is working but it just wont load the Bios and the Windows.Oh...and my Bios is up to date.
Someone said to me that my old Ram needs 2.5 volts and my new one 2.6 volts.
This may be the problem?
In this case how do I change my voltage settings?

I thank you for your time

Yeah you need to know the voltage of your new ram and go into the BIOS and set it to that, and be sure this amount is not too much and ends up killing your old ram!!! If so, you are not going to be able to use them together.

If you have a OEM system, such as Dell, HP or something like that you are likely not going to have any options like this to change in the BIOS so you will need to return that ram and by proper ram with the correct voltages. I say this because I know Asus boards used to be used in some older OEM machines, if yours is not one then ignore this comment and find your overclock area in your BIOS and adjust the voltages
