Default Chipset temperature X58

I have an ASUS P6T Deluxe V2. I was just wondering if anyone knows what the temp range for the chipset should be (like operating temp and max temp)

100C is the max safe temp per Intel Documents, I linked the PDF here
GA-EX58-UD5 heat problems

I do find them to be much warmer then we are used to in P35/P45, I think mine is around 54-58 without a fan and 38-44 with a fan
