Default Jmicron controller and disc drives not working?

Alright... well recently I installed the Jmicron drivers from the asus website because it said it'll give me support for NCQ, SATA II 3G or something, but after installing it windows does not detect either of my pata optical drives anymore... so I can't figure out how to uninstall this, any ideas?

I'm using Vista Ultimate x64 btw, if that matters.

Have you tried uninstalling via device manager? Look at this article for more on device manager in vista here. In device manager click on the plus sign next to IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers, and see if jmicron is in there, if not check 'Storage controllers'.
