Default NF4 finally available! Sort of...

I've been checking online retailers for quite some time now. I look at Newegg most frequently, but I've looked at a number of others, as well. And finally, the first NF4 motherboard has shown up at Newegg (I'll check a few others later):

http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduc...128-268&depa=0

It's not nForce 4 SLI or Ultra, just regular NF4. In other words, it's not something most enthusiasts would want to look at if considering overclocking or if the full 1000MHz (2000MHz, if you will) HT speed is desired. It will only run at 800MHz (1600MHz) HT, as will any other regular NF4 board. It'd be a great opening price for an Ultra or SLI (it wouldn't be a terrible price two months after opening...), but this is more what you would expect for the lower-end range of a new type of board just released, so it's not that great. I'd say it's okay (at best) if you want a system that won't overclock but still games well and upgrades well.

I say "kind of" in the title, because it's already out of stock, which is no suprise.

There have also been some boards at eBay (the Asus SLI board, in particular), but this is the first I've seen on a regular U.S. online retailer.

Edit: It seems a few of the higher-end boards are available for back-order off ZipZoomFly. I'm not sure if it happened recently or if I had just missed it before. Here they are:

Personally, I prefer to stick with Newegg, but I've heard ZipzoomFly is decent, just not as good (e.g. reliable, good service) as Newegg.

And the first Ultra board is on now:

Looks like it'll be low-end, but still decent, judging by the price and brand.
