I've not heard anything about it coming out tomorrow. It will take a few days, maybe a week, to get it out to the retail channels after the release date.

You may want to wait a few months though, I've read that AMD has something up their sleeve to contest Intel's new chip.

I know for certain it is being released in the UK as we speak, but as for elsewhere, I am not sure. It is now available retail, you just gotta find it in stock.

Uh, my main system has been an A64 for like a year now. My point was that AM2 is nothing groundbreaking. The performance indicates that, as almost everyone expected, it is nothing more than AMD's DDR2 transition. Overclocked Yonah performance already beats overclocked AM2 performance. The FX-62 is indeed the best-performing stock processor on the market (for now), but that doesn't make this "groundbreaking stuff." AM2 is basically socket 939 with lower power requirements and better upgradability. Nothing to scoff off at, but then it's not like the release of socket 754 or socket 939 either.

as yawg said, am2 isnt owt new. the fx60 only beats everything else cause its clocked 200mhz faster than any other chip stock. i do like amd, but wont buy am2 till they release a truely newer, faster, chip.
