Default Are my CPU core Temperatures OK

I am running a X3 720be overclocked to about 3.5GHZ with the core voltage set at 1.47V. I trade futures and use this computer for about 8 hours a day running 4 monitors with charts always displayed and updated continuously with streaming data.

After the system reaches thermal stablility my core temperatures are as shown below according to SpeedFan

Core #1 = 45C
Core #2 = 44C
Core #3 = 42C

These are core temperatures with an ambient room temperature of 22C. Max room temperature could reach as high as 25C for about 3 hours in the hot summer months. So a delta of 3C can be added to those numbers.

Are these reasonable core temperatures to be running for good cpu reliability/life?

Tom

idle temps are not important
if your load temps are under 62 you should be fine
hope this helps

Yes if those are full load temps then they are really very good but if they're just idle temps then they don't mean a thing.
