Do you already have all or some of that, or is that what you're planning on building?

i have nothing but the hard drive.... i am planning to build that system..
except i just relaized the video card problem .. i will need a pci express instead of an agp, so let's change that to me getting an X800 All In Wonder PCI-E .... what do you think i will need in terms of power. Will my 350 watt cut it or not.

So why exactly have you decided to go with an Intel processor and motherboard? An AMD processor will provide more power for less money.

And no, regardless of the system a 350W PSU will probably not cut it with that video card.

The reason i am going with the intel pentium d processor and motherboard is becasue i can get them both for $215 dollars.
Intel has this once a year purchase program where they will give u a cpu and motherboard if you work for a retailer (best buy) and do training off there website.

You will need to get an ATX 2.0 PSU regardless and at least 430W (though I'd go 480+W).

They're also known as ATX12V PSU's but the main difference between them and your current PSU is that they have a 24pin mainboard connection instead of a 20pin one.
